Charlie bags La Biosthetique Top Colour Award!

Charlie Hackford, Hair Designer and Colour Technician at The Avenue wins the La Biosthetique UK Beauty Stylist award on colour in Birmingham on sunday 26th June 2011. Charlie won the coveted award out of a very high quality of colour entrants throughout La Biosthetique salons in the UK. She is now of to the international La Biosthetique Beauty Stylists awards in Paris in september. Charlie, who is in the La Biosthetique Creactive Team, also performed on stage at the gala dinner that night and proved to be a big success.

Charlie Hackford was chosen out of hundreds of hopefulls for a place on the La Biosthetique under 25s Creative Team. She will be working along side La Biosthetique Creative Director Beverley Bates and 11 other hair stylists as they will perform hair shows to show their innovative works along with paramount education to further their careers. Well done Charlie!

The Avenue Team Perform Lanza Hair Show!

The Lanza hair show at Gatecrasher in Birmingham proved be be an absolute success. Thanks to the hard work of 6 UK salons and Lanza's very own Oscar Bond with his entourage, they put on a great show. The Avenue Team, headed by Artistic Director Russell Mcfarlane and Colour Consultant Jane Gay were personally asked by Lanza out of over 1000 salons nationally to perform a show of their work that night. After 6 weeks of hard work and many rehearsalls, The Avenue stole the show. Well Done to Russell and Jane and The Avenue team for a great performance!
